Edmond, the beer that tastes great and is genuinely committed
At Edmond, sustainability isn’t just about alcohol. We’ve developed a 100% French, waste-free production process in a brewery built and insulated from timber, equipped with solar thermal panels.
To take things a step further, we have installed heat recovery units on our refrigeration systems as well as a system to recover our rinse water (which has enabled us to reduce our water usage by 15% since 2024).
For our supplies, we are proud to use 100% French hops and between 30 and 40% local malts, thanks to long-standing, stable partnerships with French producers. Once these malts have been used in the brewing process, we make good use of the residues (spent grain for animals, hop and yeast residues for the soil) by offering them to local farmers who share our environmental values (and they repay us by providing delicious local produce… that’s the circular economy for you!).
Recently, we took another step towards zero waste by introducing France’s first reusable 75cl bottles for non-alcoholic beers. Once rinsed, they can be reused up to fifty times.
Finally, Edmond is a team of experienced female and male brewers, with specialist expertise, who have pushed the boundaries of non-alcoholic brewing techniques. Recognising and valuing the quality of their work is also key to our long-term success.
